although I managed nary a crocodile tear as we compared Trust Fund Quarterly Reports........So, what's with that cheap, black mackerel caviar, buddy!    I get all the advice I need from the side of a beer can, you know.......then, crush the can and make 'stuff' with them......I  did  live in an aluminum Airstream for a year, after all......and made decking from its mangled remains.. to save it from becoming a Perry Bus' Body.......that IS what you get when you take advice from a beverage can.......I read your 'article', after I found it.....sequestered by GOOGLE in a  Spam  Folder.........Gotta take a whip to that Computer and the Apps that ride it, or get fuckin' thrown off that fancy, tooled-for-Hollywood Tex Ritter Saddle.....

OFTEN, OUR FAVORITE 'THINGS TO COOK & EAT' ARE BUT MORE SOPHISTICATED AND COMPLEX

than the fundamentals upon which they were based.......an example:   for at least a year of Saturdays, when I was 13,  part of my day's 'routine' was, usually, stopping by Krystal, on town square, and getting the $0.68 hamburger steak, cooked on a flat iron grill, with onions....and served with a side of skinny, crunchy fries and sweet tomato ketchup.......Today.....my satisfaction comes from fancier ground meats cooked in an iron skillet, with garlic, whatever seasonings come to mind...that day; then, 'topped' with whatever chopped green and red stuff's in the fridge; ultimately, disassembled with a fork, dipped in a combo of tomato ketchup and peri-peri &/or Gochujang chili sauce...or just some Worcestershire sauce .... or whatever suits today's 'palate'......hold the greasy/salty Krystal fries......this is better...eaten from crunchy tortilla chips or crispy baked vegetable chips......

How easy is this.... Deli Pastrami and frozen grilled corn......for one of those heat-n-eat lunches.....with a 'grocery store' mixed green salad........almost faster than a frozen waffle.....

IN THE KITCHEN AR SUNRISE, SUNDAY MORNING

  Experimental Lunch.....a croissant pastry 'box' filled with crowder and black-eyed peas, okra, onions, scallions, ginger, chilis, orzo, mushrooms, diced dried apricots, green curry, Madras curry, rasam, dried dill pickle, green dragon sauce, olive bruschetta, and sweet red peppers in harissa salsa and 'painted' with hoi sin sauce/walnut oil..... served with a ladle of marinated red peppers, corn salsa, gyoza sauce and hoi sin ....i.e. clean out the fridge......a tasty little loaf...... Served with a bowl of roasted red pepper soup with hot Indonesian curry, powdered onions and garlic paste.......

WILL THIS "DO"?

When I was asked to make a 'Mozart' Cake for a friend's cousin,  'Rose'............but, was busy doing something else, and not in 'the mood' for baking a cake.........However, not to disappoint anyone........produced a rice cake, smeared with almond butter and candied blueberries...surmounted with an old porcelain Meissen figurine and a bouquet of artificial yellow roses....upon  an old, Austrian silver serving plate......Serves '1'.......or, mount  it on a 'Bakery Cake', from Publix, if you need a 'Big Cake'.....

FRESH OYSTERS, MARINATED IN YOGURT, SMOKED PAPRIKA AND TOBASCO SAUCE.....THEN TUMBLED IN SEASONED MASA FLOUR, AND COOKED IN HOT PEANUT OIL.......

SERVED,  AFTER HAVING BEEN SPEARED ON A SILVER PITCHFORK,  AND  DIPPED IN  VIBRANT GOCHUJANG KOREAN CHILI SAUCE.........
