oddly, my family ate corn tamales on the 4th of July......For breakfast, I had a couple of these delicious, gluten-free goat cheese treats....stuffed with roasted poblano peppers, Anaheim chile peppers, jalapenos, serrano peppers and spices...with Monterey Jack, cheddar and cotija cheeses. ...fresh from their corn-husk wrappers..... with iced Chai Tea....'Seconds' were served with Trader Joe's Harissa Salsa.....

COMMENT/QUESTION to a friend from my childhood, who lived a block away:  "Did you ever walk over to Mullin's, after School? When I was old enough to go downtown, by myself, I discovered BLTs at the drug store, next to the Grand News Stand......and thought, then, that I was 'getting fancy' with Food.......and, those tamales that 'the Mexican lady' made, across the street from The Central Theater sure beat those Hormel Tamales in a can!"
