HAVING JUST WATCHED THE FILM, 'VAN GOGH WAS BI-POLAR'



I've always believed that 'You ARE what you eat'........This morning, I viewed a program on BBC's The Travel Show, which featured the remarkable story of Jetro Rafael's creation of a restaurant for 'outsiders' and sensitive, vulnerable souls with 'mental "problems"'.........My 'City', Atlanta....fortunately....has many outlets for the 'artistically inclined' who would not 'fit' into the "Normal' contingency.......I recall the old VIRGINIA'S restaurant/bar/gallery/performance arena, that was just a few blocks from my front door a dozen or so years ago...and PARIS ON PONCE, as it was in more Artsy/LessCommercial days.....This morning, my 'brain' instructed me to serve it avocados, walnuts, sunflower kernels, oat bran, golden raisins and roquefort cheese on Ritz crackers......I feel much better, now.......the maintenance of 'Atmosphere' via lighting, sound, smells and aesthetics is the binder for my components...which fall to pieces in the "outside world".....but, which combine, to 'create' when the directional impetus of the 'outside world' is....well....ignored!

Utilization of the hand-made 'pitchfork' that a friend made a half century ago in Richard Mafong's metalsmithing class at Georgia State University...............

a mini-lunch, shared on a long-handled silver 'pitchfork' with a tiny adult 'hand fed' Pomeranian that is visiting a next door neighbor....and loved licking up the last of the dribbles of Saus Bumbu Tumis...... a glop of pumpkin/almond/ginger bread with ligonberry preserves and sliced almonds, now that 'Chi-Chi' dog has returned to her mommy's lap, taking her dripping tongue with her........although, I can see her nostrils, widening, at the potential of  'dessert'.......upps.....here she comes.....as I gobble the last crumbs, leaving a dry crust for 'Chi-Chi'.......
