screw the cheese omelet!.......having what 'I really want for breakfast' will alleviate my anxiety........Listening to NPR, as I was folding egg yolks into whipped egg whites, while coursing through a cheese omelet plan........the constant, obsessive radio chatter about the 'end of the world as we know it', by politicians ......expanding their bank accounts for some big time 'fattening'.....I thought: "have some damned fruit pie with a 'lard' crust.....".a reward for having been 'isolated', which hasn't been so challenging, actually.....but, more for not having left the house at all since the viral pandemic.....get out the insulin pump! ....Oh, coffee!.....that'll do!

a mini-lunch, shared on a long-handled silver 'pitchfork' with a tiny adult 'hand fed' Pomeranian that is visiting a next door neighbor....and loved licking up the last of the dribbles of Saus Bumbu Tumis...... a glop of pumpkin/almond/ginger bread with ligonberry preserves and sliced almonds, now that 'Chi-Chi' dog has returned to her mommy's lap, taking her dripping tongue with her........although, I can see her nostrils, widening, at the potential of  'dessert'.......upps.....here she comes.....as I gobble the last crumbs, leaving a dry crust for 'Chi-Chi'.......

THE TOUTED LARGESSE OF MEDIOCRITY....

  a visit, yesterday afternoon, to what used to be Loehmann's Plaza......now, renamed a more 'fashionable' Brighten Park...brought about a 'dinner stop' at "Eataliano-Kitchen-Atlanta", where our waitress insured us that this was the 'best Italian restaurant in Atlanta'........The food was a bit disgusting, however....... I asked "Are your chicken wings as good as the ones at Thaicoon...down the street? "...... So, minutes later a plate of greasy, underseasoned 'wings' appeared, accompanied by some wilted, tasteless 'celery sticks' and rubbery 'carrot sticks' and a bowl of el cheapo ranch dressing.....the 'commercial' kind that comes in those huge plastic jars..........ugh!......then come the desserts.......my dinner companion had a sugary chocolate brownie...made, of course, from a commercial mix.....(add water and, maybe, an egg and a cup of saturated liquid fat......probably corn oil), dump on some
